When you’re looking for a portable yet sturdy large shelter, the CAMSS 30IS has all the necessities to get you going. At 30ft wide and 24ft high, it provides a large working area to fit your needs. Along with 16ft wide x 16ft 11in high vertical lift entries, moving large vehicles and equipment in and out is easy. The all-aluminum frame makes it fast to assemble with no heavy equipment and is 463L pallet compatible for compact shipping. No wonder it’s been trusted throughout Afghanistan for heavy vehicle maintenance.

Cover / End Panels

15 oz/sq yd Mil-Spec 44103D fabric

Can connect multiple shelters end to end with optional connector flap
Built in infrared (IR) blocking
Fabric includes UV inhibitors and is mold and rot resistant
Fire resistant fabric that meets NFPA 701
Cover and ends are radio frequency welded
Steel cable included to tighten cover around frame

Personnel Entries

Two (2) aluminum personnel doors
- (30” W x 80” H)
- Locking flush mount handle
- Secured to the shelter without penetration of the fabric

Vehicle Entries

Two (2) vertical lift doors
- (16’ Width x 16’11″ Clearance Height)
- Electric operation in under 1 minute with manual backup
- Vehicle doors install in 2 hours
- Centered on the ends of the shelter
- Secured to the shelter without penetration of the fabric

Frame

Made from lightweight, high-strength aluminum
Continuous base frame
Frame components are interchangeable and color coded to speed assembly
Pre-drilled base frame for easy anchoring
Base frame has connection points to secure cover to frame
Frame is corrosion resistant
Vertical and horizontal aluminum bracing in end-walls

Liner

Shelter includes an internal liner system that helps to maintain internal working conditions of 40° – 80° F in ambient temperatures of -25° to 125° F when supported by 5-Ton military environmental control units
Four (4) air socks to provide improved air circulation
8 oz/sq yd Mil-Spec fabric
Liner is flame resistant per test method ASTM D6413
- After flame – 2 seconds max
