Often used by the U.S. Navy, the CAMSS 28EX is ideal for applications requiring a spacious interior with large roll-up doors. The volume of accessibility supplied by these entrances combined with an impressive amount of interior space makes this shelter system a perfect fit for maintenance bays, repair shops, classrooms, storage facilities, and numerous other possibilities.

Cover / End Panels

15 oz/sq yd Mil-Spec 44103D fabric

Can connect multiple shelters end to end with optional connector flap
Fabric includes UV inhibitors and is mold and rot resistant
Built in infrared (IR) blocking
Fire resistant fabric that meets NFPA 701
Cover and ends are radio frequency welded
Each end panel includes mesh attic vent with cover

Personnel Entries

Two (2) aluminum personnel doors (30” W x 80” H)
- Locking flush mount handle
- Secured to the shelter without penetration of the fabric

Vehicle Entries

Two (2) metal roll-up doors (12’ W x 8’ H)
- Manual chain driven operation
- Vehicle doors install in 2 hours
- Centered on the ends of the shelter
- Secured to the shelter without penetration of the fabric

Frame

Made from lightweight, high-strength aluminum
Continuous base frame
Frame components are interchangeable and color coded to speed assembly
Pre-drilled base frame for easy anchoring
Base frame has connection points to secure cover to frame
Frame is corrosion resistant

Electrical

Two (2) outlet lines with a total of twelve (12) quick connect 110V outlets
Twelve (12) quick connect incandescent lights with protective metal cages

Anchoring

Sixty-six (66) double headed 18” base frame spikes
Eight (8) guy ropes and guy spikes

Engineering & Design

Engineering calculations demonstrate shelter performance meets a 100 mph wind load of 100 mph per ASCE 7-16
Engineering calculations demonstrate shelter performance meets a ground snow load of 20 psf per ASCE 7-16
